About Us

A community event at Ogdensburg Elks Lodge with attendees and presenters.

Forty-five reviewers gave Ogdensburg Elks Lodge an average of 4.6 stars, and the comments tell you exactly why. One guest called it "five star all the way" after a single meal. Another came to host a reception following a funeral and left moved by the kindness of Denise, Joe, and Gayle, staff members who showed up with warmth and efficiency when it mattered most. That is not an accident. It is the culture of this place.

Situated at 322 Caroline St in Ogdensburg, NY, the lodge has been a cornerstone of this St. Lawrence River community for generations. The Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks has operated in America since 1868, and local lodges like this one carry that mission forward every single day through charitable giving, youth programs, and a dining room that members brag about to their neighbors.

Membership here means more than a card in your wallet. It means a table full of people who know your name, a kitchen turning out meals worth driving across town for, and a hall you can rent when life calls for a gathering, whether that is a wedding reception, a celebration of life, or a birthday party that deserves a real venue.

What We Offer

The lodge offers a full-service dining room that draws consistent praise from members and guests alike. The kitchen produces hearty, satisfying meals at prices that reflect the lodge's community-first philosophy. Check the current schedule for dinner nights and special events.

Banquet and event hall rental is available for private gatherings of all kinds. The staff handles receptions, memorial services, reunions, and milestone celebrations with the kind of attentiveness that guests remember long after the event ends. The team coordinates setup, service, and cleanup so hosts can actually enjoy the occasion.

Beyond food and events, the lodge supports local charitable programs through the Elks National Foundation, including scholarships for area students, veterans outreach, and youth activities. Membership opens the door to all of it, plus reciprocal privileges at Elks lodges across the country.

"I came here to celebrate a bday party and I’m glad this was the chosen venue. Pizza was surprisingly good. Completely caught off guard! But I couldn’t help notice the plates of fried fish coming out of the kitchen. It looked absolutely delicious. I decided to try it. I had them fix me a plate and went fries + mac n chz. Phenomenal! Not a word you would associate w an Elks club in a town in New York not even New Yorkers have ever heard of. Crew working that night was great! Can’t wait to get back to The Burg for Friday fish at the Elks."

The Elks gave America
Flag Day.

Long before it was a national observance, the Order set aside June 14th to honor the flag. Patriotism has always been one of our cardinal principles, and every lodge meeting still closes the same way it has for over a century.
